![]() I was in great health at the time when I got bitten. at the time - but I didn't feel well, and I did experience vertigo and other weird feelings for the first time in my life. I don't remember any symptoms of rashes or fevers etc. I had a massive itchy sore lump at the bite spot for around 2-3 months afterwards. I am in Australia and got bitten by a tick that left me feeling sick for weeks. But that doesn't work well when there are many who have never left the country! The rest try to say suffers must have been bitten overseas. Being tested is almost impossible here though as only a small handful of medical doctors believe it is here. I don't know for sure if I do have Lyme, but definitely have a fair few of the symptoms. It just so happened that, on the very day I went to see my first LLMD, at bedtime after walking the dogs thru an undeveloped, weedy area, I found a tick, fully (and stubbornly) attached on my belly.Ĭalled my new LLMD who immediately prescribed doxy- this was before all my tests were in - and he was covering RMSF, just in case. And I don't have any reason to belive that it meant Lyme. Kodak, I THINK this MAY (key word, 'may") have happened to me.
